The day at Kak Pul

On 17 April 2024, a heartbreaking accident took place at Kak Pul. Qari Mehboob Sahib was martyred, and the members of his family travelling with him in the car were seriously injured.

It was a day the community can never forget. A family was suddenly facing loss, hospital bills and an uncertain future, all at once.

The response

A few hands reached out

In that difficult hour, a handful of people stepped forward with real selflessness. They didn’t wait to be asked. They gathered whatever they could and stood beside the family.

“It was not a one-time help. It was a lamp that kept burning.”
03
The decision

Turning help into a system

The same people realised that tragedies like this happen far too often, and that families shouldn’t have to wait for strangers to notice. So they built something lasting.

Members agreed to give a small fixed amount every month (Rs 100 in Pakistan, 5 SAR abroad), so that money is ready before the next emergency, not after it.
